Having agreed a desired price for the business following the valuation
procedures and subsequent discussions with vendors, Lloyd Fredericks
will, if instructed, launch a marketing and sales campaign on their
behalf.
A typical campaign will include:
- Researching lists of potential purchasers.
- Identifying companies and or individuals that may be interested in acquiring the business.
- Working closely with the vendor to identify similar or associated businesses who may be potential purchasers.
- Obtaining signed Confidentiality Agreements with genuine potential buyers.
- Entering preliminary discussions with respondents to evaluate their financial capabilities and intentions for the business.
- Working closely with vendor, buyer and advisors to facilitate a mutually satisfactory conclusion.
If appointed as business broker, one of our senior brokers will be
personally responsible to the vendor from start to finish. Our
responsibility is to develop links with potential buyers, whilst
maintaining close personal contact with the vendor and hence allowing
the vendor to focus on running their business without needless
distraction.
